Kimberly Patterson: DJ KPATT

Kimberly Patterson, professionally known as DJ KPATT, is a seasoned DJ, Radio
Personality, and Station Manager at WCHI Biggs Radio Chicago and a Programming
Manager at WBVE 108.8 with over 30 years in the entertainment industry. She was
rooted in Atlanta’s vibrant music scene and her sound is shaped by gospel, soul, R&aB,
funk, and classic hip hop.
Since launching her DJ career in 2022, she has become known for delivering soulful,
high-quality, and audience-driven experiences at lounges, private events, schools,
fundraisers, and corporate events. Her signature style centers on Old School Classics,
R&B, and Hip Hop, with the versatility to program any genre to match the room.
A National Black Radio Hall of Fame honoree, Kimberly serves as the Station Manager
and Radio Personality on WCHI Biggs Radio, a global female Black-owned station
reaching over 200,000 listeners worldwide. She hosts The Kim Patterson Show every
Thursday from 8–10 PM CST, known for spinning classic hits, engaging content, and
signature on-air presence as “Your Night-Time Girlfriend.”
In addition, she is the Programming Manager at WVBE 108.8 – We Are The Source,
where she curates weekend programming and on-air mixes on Set It Off Saturdays that
spotlight 80s, 90s, and 2000s hits, blending nostalgic appeal with modern radio
strategy.
